Since the text of Revelation was composed and first began to circulate, people have struggled with the message of this chapter. I do not know the interpretation, but in 2014 I began to understand the symbols and what they represent. My conviction is we are now living in the time described in the following verses, and this reality will cause a great many to falter.
A note I must repeat: there will be ongoing disbelief as events unfold, and yet, simultaneously, a vast struggle to resist, to change what is happening. We must trust God as the future will happen as revealed here in, by His word.
One more comment, please – we can only reasonably perceive unfamiliar circumstances with the natural tools we have within our minds, except for that which is revealed to us by God. So much remains unclear, and as we proceed events themselves often cause uncertainty. Humility before God is always the pathway to His favour in Christ, of understanding that we may prepare our hearts while God’s proclamation is revealed. After all, the course of each life in this world is foreknown by God. Salvation or damnation, the conclusion will transpire in accordance with His will. Seize hold of His grace!
1 Then I saw a beast [Greek: θηρίον – thay-ree’-on: a savage, ferocious ‘beast’, man or animal] with ten horns and seven heads rising out of the sea. There were ten royal crowns on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2 The beast I saw was like a leopard, with the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
Ten ‘horns’ – a horn was an old testament symbol of militarism, frequently the deployment of a people at war with Israel – that is, at war with God. Ten horns could be the nations of a supranational military alignment – not so hard to imagine in the present tense. More particularly, for instance some members of the European Union parliament have openly expressed their powerlessness to effect the desire of their nation’s citizens: stability.
The dragon is Lucifer – the devil manifest in this world in ways we do not, we are not willing to perceive, and still there is much more to share about it.
Seven heads rising out of the sea: this characterisation speaks at once to the maritime history of Babylonian, Persian, Roman, and later European colonialism and its conquest of many, many subject peoples – this was achieved and maintained via the deployment of military forces abroad, via the seaways – the most significant being the Mediterranean Sea.
Featured are a leopard, the feet of bear, and the mouth of a lion. May I suggest a contemporary national symbolism here, specifically Germany, Russia, and the issuances of Britain and her ‘young lions‘ (a second witness).
3 One of the heads of the beast appeared to be mortally wounded. But the mortal wound was healed, and the whole world marveled and followed the beast. 4 They worshiped [Greek: from προσκυνέω (pros-koo-neh’-o) – to prostrate oneself, bow down before] the dragon who had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped* the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against it?”
* The Greek term means to kneel before, submit one’s self to. It is about forced compliance, obedience – to live, to act strictly as you are permitted.
The text speaks here of a final, emerging global totalitarianism. The Great Reset, presently advancing across the West? Thus the seemingly mortal wound of the previous ‘head’ – essentially, the thrust of Nazism – was … reinvigorated.
The heads of the beast have been the rulers of what has constituted Luciferian power on Earth – those who manifest, who impose their hellish principles upon humanity. The perspective that the beast is (and was) not a person, neither was it the ‘office’ of an antichrist (this word does not occur in the text of Revelation), but rather it symbolizes the authoritative, decisive bodies of control of the world – these which continue forging the crises of the world. Speaking broadly the ‘heads’ relate to nations, to peoples and systems. It renders a view of those who effect a culmination of complete, authoritarian control. “Who can resist?”, the people ask.
As events unfold, I have expected it to become ever clearer that Hitler and the Nazis were the head that received a seemingly fatal ‘wound’. Now, as history unfolds yes, fascism has re-emerged in Europe (the West). It broadly holds governmental and economic mindshare in the West, and does so with little opposition as it has secured for itself the power of global finance. Thus the governments of the world are bound in service to Lucifer, to the WEF.
5 The beast was given a mouth to speak arrogant and blasphemous words, and authority to act for 42 months. 6 And the beast opened its mouth to speak blasphemies against God and to slander His name and His tabernacle—those who dwell in heaven.
Please, do not embrace the talking heads, for they constitute the mouth of the lion. They are a collective of contrivance, disseminating propaganda and broadcasting throughout the world, pointedly, in the English ‘system’.
The planners have a foundational belief that the believer in Christ is a fool, that such are of the ‘non-compliant’. Credulous, they (we) are to be labelled as victims of disinformation. Thus the global mantra exhorts, demands a ‘discipline’ of compliance, for such will save both themselves and society. Lies!
Truth be told, these unite upon a dedication to control and to reduce global population. Consequently, their enemy is a strong family unit, and the building blocks, the foundation of a genuinely sustainable society is solely Jesus Christ. So overcome in Christ! Do not partake in the machinations of immiseration – toiling to be yet existing alone, in separation.
Please, a word to all of humanity: seek ye first the kingdom of God!
The power body of the kingdom of Lucifer on earth will spread a false message – their own ‘good news’ which denies the love, the very being of Almighty God, of His loving self-sacrifice to win the hearts of individuals. For three-and-one-half years the podium of the beast will do all it can – slandering to pervert the public mind – to inflame abandoning Christ.
7 Then the beast was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8 And all who dwell on the earth will worship* the beast—all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb who was slain.
Conditioned by the revised law, revised human ‘rights’ will enshrine the primacy of doing such things to one’s self, to society as will suffocate the life-giving breath of God from the planet, from the hearts of its victims.
9 He who has an ear, let him hear: 10 “If anyone is destined for captivity, into captivity he will go; if anyone is to die by the sword, by the sword he must be killed.” Here is a call for the perseverance and faith of the saints.
Verses nine and ten serve as an interjection, the point of which is to offer clarity: these things will happen. Resolve yourself to the work of God throughout, for the judgments of God will be seen to be right, righteous.
11 Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. This beast had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. 12 And this beast exercised all the authority of the first beast and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship* the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.
For the tribulation, the beast of history transitions – no longer rising from the west, from the sea. In your mind, from Jerusalem, turn and face east. We now see a beast rising from the earth – the land. The Chinese dragon, a symbol so very important in these last days – China speaks as a dragon.
A ‘new world order’. The old one living on in the present, but there is an establishment coming with its own rules, own laws – its own currency. This viscious, vile, mindless beast has two military centers, two nations and militaries working with and against one another. The deception is that of a seeming lamb – the West, the United States government. The dictatorial nature of the dragon reflects the land it thus symbolizes, the nation of China.
What about Russia? Russia is caught, trapped in peril between the two, but I do fully expect the Russian government will ’embrace’ the beast as well.
Addendum: If I may clarify, please, I know not the ‘fate’ of Russia, but I do know its government is compromised in having any dealings with China the Chinese government. I declare, with gratitude, that I have been blessed in my friendships with Asian people, and particularly my Chinese acquaintances and colleagues.
If you question whether the people of this age will ‘worship’ anything – any authority apart from themselves, the word* in its original language conveys submission, not celebration. The text renders a perspective of total compliance, of acquiescence – as occurred with COVID-19. It’s not over.
13 And the second beast performed great signs to cause even fire from heaven to come down to earth in the presence of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet had lived. 15 The second beast was permitted to give breath to [to animate] the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship* it to be killed.
What are the first and second beast? I have held, privately, the view that the first beast is the contemporary inheritors of ‘Babylon’ – those families as well as those wilfully enslaved by them. Specifically, the western politic, culminating with the expanse of climate-based global fascism that is smothering life, liberty, and happiness in the West – truly in the whole world. The second beast has emerged post WWII, and it will fully engulf the government of China – now a militant communism crafted, groomed by the ‘dragon’ and by the ‘governors’ of the World Economic Forum. It will, in combination with the WHO, continue in place of the first beast.
16 And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark [Greek: χάραγμα (khar’-ag-mah) – identification-marker] on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark—the name [Greek: from ὀνόμα (on’-om-ah) – character, authority] of** the beast or the number of its name***.

*** in essense ‘proof of membership’ (of the group specified by the ‘mark’)

18 Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666 [Greek: χξϛ (chi-ksi-stigma) or, in some textual witnesses χιϛ (chi-iota-stigma)].
Addendum: Coincidence? I think not. Every EU citizen and resident in the Union will be able to use a personal digital wallet – ‘no’ doesn’t matter…
Addendum: To be more explicit, because it is happening now, “It’s a buzzword that denotes the plan to make digital ID and digital payments mandatory everywhere on Earth by 2030.” I’ve kept this date quiet till now, but no longer. Everybody, wake up!!
Please do not dismiss, but rather consider ‘hypothetical’ cases, one such as that of citizen lockdown (note the scan is for a QR code encoding proof of current vaccination). One more commentary, to make the connection unmistakable. Legally, commercially, socially – global citizenry will comply – or die.
May I paraphrase, in my own words, the Greek of that day in the context of this day, “So here are the facts – in order to understand one needs to consider the objective of the beast, to ‘enroll’ each person via χξϛ (or χιϛ).”
Sadly, this concept emerges within the new WHO treaty. The symbols are present in the WHO logo – the Rod of Asclepius encoded in the scripture.
Seven years, then what? We’ll examine this question next.
Addendum: The Lord showed me, and enabled me to consider what these things convey to this generation. I have stated to a friend that the US will soon cease to exist as a democracy, a republic – well here we are. Yes, be afraid, but don’t pretend to be unaware. We all have to give an account. Stand up for Christ, now or never!
